- I have similar problems. At home, with USR 28.8, I have no problems.
- At work, with Cardinal14.4 MVP external, I have much trouble
- negotiating a connection, and thus get modem hangups before
- connecting. My service provider says the problem is with Rockwell
- chipsets, which apparently many brands of modems use, including
- Cardinal.
